The last time i check there was absolutely no connection between the independence of the United States and dressing like you are from the Dark Ages. However, these people are quickly blurring the lines of distinction. Apparently Round Rock, Texas is open minded enough to allow LARPers in the July 4th parade. What is LARP? It stands for live-action role playing. In other words its people who are not simply content to wallow in the nerdhood privately but instead choose to flaunt their social awkwardness for all the world to see. For further reading please go
