Adeline Visits Jamaica?

Why is it that when I go to do Adeline's hair, I'm usually rushing to get some sort of pony-tail ensemble in her hair while she is squirming, turning her head, or altogether running away from me...and it usually ends up looking something like this:

Yet, she'll sit still long enough for her nanny to do this:

That's fifty braids for those of you who lost count...
