it has been a bit since the last post and for that i apologize. we have all been caught up in the back to school madness. the first week back after break seems like the longest week of the year. many times i found myself looking at my watch wondering when the class would end and how i ever managed to do this for an entire day. luckily most of that has passed and we are all back on our normal school-time schedules.
Katie is doing just fine and i recently found out that she is 3rd grade department chair. i was really excited about this until she told me she has been department chair since August and that i should pay closer attention when she tells me things...oh well, a belated congratulations anyway!
Adeline had no problem going back to spend her days with Lorena and Aidan. she has been especially hungry lately and has been eating quite a bit more than usual. i'm guessing this is a sign of a growth spurt.
classes have been going fine for me. i'm looking at starting grad school this summer to get my master's degrees in history. we'll see how that all works out. that is pretty much it for now.
