Yesterday Mommy was 33 weeks pregnant!! Adeline is growing every day. "Aunt" Cori sent Mommy a beautiful hand-knitted blanket and a paper chain to count down the days until 34 weeks, when Mommy and Addie will be "home free." Mommy goes to the doctor weekly now to check for any progress and monitor Addie's heartrate. Last week, her heartrate was a little lower than normal, so they had Mommy drink some juice which perked her right up. The doctor said that if Mommy makes it to 36-37 weeks that he will go ahead and induce labor. He said that at that point, "the benefits would no longer outweigh the risks." So Mommy will NOT get that diamond birthstone (April) for her mother's ring that she worked so hard for!! Adeline will probably be born sometime during the second week of March. This happens to be Daddy's Spring Break, which means he can stay home with Mommy and Addie for a week without having to take any days off. Daddy has been working on painting the nursery. Hopefully, next week it will be finished and we can post pictures of Addie's room. For now, we are doing a good job of keeping Mommy company during the day while she's at home alone.
