"Read Doggy Go"

Adeline's favorite new book is "Go, Dog, Go!" by P. D. Eastman. We originally bought the smaller board book version which was actually quite different than the original. This weekend Todd and Adeline went to Barnes and Noble and Todd came across the full-length version and bought it for Adeline. We read it several times this weekend. There is one exchange between two dogs that happens quite a few times throughout the book....

On Sunday we were driving around town and Adeline had her little board book in the backseat. I hear her saying...

"Hello. Hello. My hat, yike it? I no yike. Goodbye. Goodbye. Read Doggy Go!"

Over. and over. and over.
This must be her new favorite phrase because yesterday as she was "taking a nap" (read: not actually sleeping at all, rather playing in her crib...) we heard this at least 10 times over the monitor! Our baby can "read!"
