A (second) new crib...

Today Mommy is 27 weeks pregnant! She is entering her third and final trimester. Yesterday, she had a doctor's appointment and they took another look at Addie via ultrasound. The great news is that Mommy no longer has Placenta Previa and she will not have to have a scheduled c-section!! Also, Addie is still a girl according to the ultrasound tech, and she was moving around and opening and closing her mouth. Over the Christmas break, Mommy and Daddy got the crib they ordered. They noticed that there were a few scratches, but decided to put it together anyway. After a few days of it being up in the nursery, Mommy changed her mind and asked Daddy to take it apart and repackage it to be returned. Needless to say, Daddy was not happy, but since he is a good Daddy, he did it anyway. Tonight, Mommy and Daddy got a second (and different) crib to replace the first one. Then, Daddy and his friend Gabe put it together. With the money that they saved on the new crib, they were able to buy a mattress and all of the bedding. The bedding is green and brown with elephants on it. Logan is not sure how she is supposed to keep up her duties of Homeland Security (guarding against the elephants) if Mommy and Daddy are going to be bringing them into the house so freely!!

Amanda said I should tell you my crib story. Jason insisted on putting Dylan's crib together in our living room. I tried to tell him that it would not fit through the doors, but he disagreed!! Sure enough, he got it together, tried so hard to get it into Dylan's room, scratched the front of the crib, and then had to take it apart!! Men!!
